Motivational Interviewing (MI – Hub)
Motivational interviewing is the foundational skill utilized by the Clinical Health Coaching project to help individuals make healthy lifestyle changes.
The MI-Hub provides resources to facilitate training and programming based on Motivational Interviewing (MI). MI is a conversational tool with documented effectiveness for helping to guide individuals toward a behavior change goal. The technique is widely used in health care settings, as well as in community programs and workplaces to enhance motivation to impact health-related behaviors and enhance health outcomes.
